SB Budget Workshops on 3/4 and 3/5 Canceled
I just got information that the budget workshops scheduled for today and tomorrow at 5 PM have been canceled. I don’t know why, but will post the information if I learn more.
The proposed budget documents have now been posted on the town web site budget page

From the Town website this morning:
“Budget Workshops Cancelled
The Town Council has cancelled the budget workshops scheduled for Monday March 3rd and Tuesday March 4th. ”
By what action did the “Town Council” cancel the meeting? The Council did not have a posted meeting to take that action. I don’t see how that could have happened. Who did cancel the meetings?

why dont you ask a councilor? they cancelled them because they did not want to take any action before today. toady is the day when some of the councilors meet and try to oust the manager.going to cost a lot of money for that. not what we elected them for either! but hey,they feel they can do whatever they want.

I did, in fact, ask councilors what happened. Those that I heard from said they were not consulted, and were very frustrated that the work of this town was not getting done.

its not getting done because of three councilors who have decided to try and get rid of the manager.its funny how you didnt mention that part.i dont remember the citizens calling for this,but then again the three in question only represent a selected few and tell a selected few of their plans.where is the money to buy him out coming from.any ideas? no,because you may not know huh? its time to stop blaming the manager for work not getting done and blame the three. tim
