GreenUp! South Berwick and the South Berwick/Eliot Rotary have teamed up for House Warmings, an initiative to help local homeowners get ready for winter by weatherizing their homes. South Berwick resident and GreenUp! member, Annie Stephenson and several volunteers did home energy audits for five local families a week ago, and now it’s time to get those houses buttoned up for cold weather! We need a few more volunteers to help with the House Warmings this weekend.
Please email molly@the236diner.com if you would like to help with this community effort this Saturday morning. Volunteers will meet at 8 a.m., Saturday, November 8 at the South Berwick Community Center next to the Fire Station on Norton St. and will be divided into work teams. All levels of skill/experience are welcome. If you can put tape on plastic, you’re good to go! The work will be finished by noon.
This is an exciting project for GreenUp! South Berwick and we’re happy to be collaborating with South Berwick/Eliot Rotary, which is providing most of the materials and many volunteers.
