The South Berwick Town Council just issued the following press release:
The South Berwick Town Council will be starting their search process for a Town Manager again. Jean Demetracopoulos, the Council Chairman informed the board during their executive session last night that the finalist for the position has decided to decline the Council’s offer of employment. The candidate cited a difficult personal decision as his reason for turning down the offer.
The Council will meet after the Thanksgiving holiday to determine if they wish to look again at the applicants from the search they performed this past summer or if they would prefer to begin the search process over with the hope of identifying new candidates.
