Nov 20 - OBHS - Greatest Generation
Old Berwick Historical Society: Local World War II Veterans of the “Greatest Generation” to Speak
Veterans of this war who live in and near South Berwick will take part in a panel discussion at 7:30 pm on Thursday, November 20 at Berwick Academy. upstairs in Berwick Academy’s Fogg Memorial building on Academy Street. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served by volunteers.
Nov 22 - First Baptist Church - Pancake Breakfast
The First Baptist Church is having a Pancake Breakfast Saturday, November 22 from 8:00-10:00. It’s a fund-raising event to help a group of people from the community raise money to go to LaRomana in the Dominican Republic and work on various construction jobs and help in the hospitals.
Nov 22 and 23-Open Studios at Salmon Falls Mills
On November 22nd and 23rd, over 100 Salmon Falls Mill artists and guest artists invite the public to their semi-annual Open Studios event. The mills are located in Rollinsford NH and are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the weekend before Thanksgiving. Parking is available in the Upper Mill lot and at the end of Front Street, below the Lower Mill.

Dec 1-SMRPC-Traffic Congestion Meeting
The Southern Maine Regional Planning Commission (SMRPC) has secured funding through the Kittery Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for a Feasibility Study to look at reducing traffic congestion in downtown South Berwick. SMRPC announced that a meeting would take place at 7 pm December 1 at the South Berwick Town Hall to hear from the public regarding their vision for the downtown.
Dec 4 - Children of the Nations - Music by Tim Janis
Come enjoy a night of Christmas Magic with Music by Tim Janis
Thursday, December 4th 6:30-9:30PM at the beautiful Red Barn at Outlook Farm, Route 4 in South Berwick, ME. There will be a reception with passed Hors D’oeuvres and music by Trillium, a trio of piano, violin and flute, playing classical, folk, and Celtic music.

Dec 6 - Jewett House - The Becket Girls’ Tree
Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m., Sarah Orne Jewett House, South Berwick
Enjoy a special children’s program, the reading of Jewett’s 1884 Christmas story, The Becket Girls’ Tree, in the breakfast room of the Jewett House. Children will make simple Victorian ornaments and use them to decorate a tree, much like the one described in the story, on the side lawn of the Jewett House. Light refreshments will be served.
Dec 6 and 7 - Community Chorus at South Berwick - Christmas Garland
Community Chorus at South Berwick will present its 34th annual Christmas concert, “A Christmas Garland,” on December 6 and 7. The two performances will be Saturday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 22 Fox Run Road, Newington. and Sunday, December 7, at 3 p.m. at Marshwood High School, South Berwick
