Mark you calendar. On Saturday, January 24 there will be a neighborly auction, raffle, and get together to help raise funds for South Berwick’s Fuel Assistance fund. This is a tough winter for many, with the worsening economic picture taking its toll on all of us. This event offers an opportunity for neighbors to give what they can to make sure everyone in South Berwick can stay warm this winter.
The organizers are seeking donations for raffle and auction: Some ideas: Restaurant and store gift certificates, antiques, collectibles, historical documents, art, fine crafts, sporting goods, professional services, wine, fuel, weatherization supplies, travel packages, vacation home use, etc. Donors are encouraged to get creative with their ideas.
