I would encourage the residents who attended town meeting to also attend the school board meeting and express their concerns about property taxes. It was reported at our last Council meeting that only one resident commented about school spending at the last school board meeting. I have read many comments on this blog, had many residents contact me personally, and listened to residents concerns about their ability to pay any increase in taxes. Now, when budgets are being formulated, is the best time to have productive input.
