These pictures demonstrate the importance of that parking to the vitality of our small downtown. South Berwick has only about 2 blocks of businesses, and these are central to the whole community. We need to maintain that parking as options are evaluated for traffic in town. Traffic lights at that corner would eliminate a great deal of this vital resouce. I'm convinced we need to develop alternatives that keep this essential Main Street parking.

Try the St. Michaels parking lot around the corner...it's actually right in back of the market. With all the negative talk about that purchase...it could be a boon to the downtown if the area is cleaned up and maintained. There is much additional parking!
