The Ambassadors Club at the Great Works School is a school club that studies geography and helps schools and thinks of new ways to help needy children around the world. They have asked to pass along the following message so residents of South Berwick and Eliot will be prepared when they are asked, “Trick or Treat for UNICEF” this year.
Dear Neighbors,
This year a small group of children in the Marshwood Great Works School called The World Ambassadors Club will be trick-or-treating for UNICEF, a foundation that helps kids in need around the world. UNICEF says that seven cents could buy a box of crayons.
Two dollars will let a child get a vaccine to prevent polio. $150 could buy a water pump for a village that can not get water easily.
If you would like to donate, please make sure you have some spare coins or dollar bills saved to put in our orange UNICEF boxes that we will bring to your house when trick-or-treating.
Thank You!
Yours Sincerely,
The World Ambassadors Club
