The children's book collection is expanding through a donation from the Friends of the Library

New Books!

The Library continues to add new books to its collection to appeal to a wide range of readers.  New adult fiction includes Dan Brown’s “The Lost Symbol,” “An Echo in the Bone” by Diana Gabaldon, “Hothouse Orchid” by Stuart Woods, and Lorrie Moore’s “A Gate at the Stairs.”  New non-fiction arrivals are Jon Krakauer’s “Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman” and “The Case for God” by Karen Armstrong.

The children’s book collection has been greatly enhanced through a generous grant from the Friends of the South Berwick Library’s Annual Appeal.  New arrivals include “Dog Days,” the latest installment in Jeff Kinney’s “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series.  Two other popular series have new additions “Syren” by Angie Sage, book five in the Septimus Heap series, and Trenton Lee Stewart’s latest, “The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner’s Dilemma.”
