This just in from Kimberly Ouellette of the Maine Department of Transportation:
Next week (5/17-5/21) the Contractor intends to pave the approaches and the bridge (weather permitting) on Route 236, and it will most likely impact traffic moving through the area. The Contractor currently has two message boards positioned at either end of the project with project-specific information, and today they will be changing the message to reflect the upcoming work and to request that motorists seek an alternate route during this time.
